Videography:
Each project is different, depending on how long the video is, how many filming locations there are, and how many days it takes to film & edit. A simple one location video which takes a couple of hours to film might get wrapped up in around 2-3 days work. A more complex video with multiple locations, interview footage and supporting imagery will take longer and therefore cost more. As an example, a 10 minute video filmed in 2 or 3 locations might take 1- 2 weeks to produce, including concept development, filming & editing, so anywhere between £1,500 and £3,000. But I always say, let's not let budget get in the way of trying to produce what you need. It's always worth a conversation and you can always tell me what your budget is and I can give you an indication of what you might get for that. And, as with all projects, videos take a lot of work and I never charge for all the time it takes me to produce something that I am proud of and you are delighted with.
Photography:
I charge rates to suit the project, the budget and the client, and I never let cost get in the way of doing work that I love. For photography it usually takes around the same amount of time, or a little bit longer, to edit a series of photos as the shoot itself. So a half days shoot will take somewhere between one half and one full day to edit. And for that you'll get a lot of photos to use on social media and your website, or anywhere else. I don't charge per photo. You pay for my time and get hundreds of images if that's what you need.
